Macquarie University recently expanded their science centre. The following requirements and challenges were considered:

• The BMS must be able to integrate with the BMS used for existing buildings, which is Niagara
• Laboratories and equipment require critical condition monitoring to protect sensitive scientific content
• A finer level of control is required from a highly reliable BMS to maintain critical conditions. Conditions must maintain consistent temperature and humidity thresholds.
• Critical monitoring essential for critical environment rooms (CER), fridges and equipment
• Over 1500 control points part of scope of works

Enviro Building Services integrated new BMS equipment into the Niagara server so all data is available in the one program.

This facilitates monitoring and control of the new facility, with critical monitoring of labs, fridges and equipment.
