The Cessnock Correction Facility Expansion had the following challenges and requirements:

• This development was a ground build, requiring BMS work for the new building as well as extension of existing buildings with existing BMS
• As this building is a correctional facility, the BMS needed to be highly secure and reliable
• Point count of over 750 low level points, and over 100 high level points
• 2 new admin buildings
• Monitoring and control of Mitsubishi VRF system

Enviro Building Services provided the following solution:

• Easy IO DDC controllers were deployed and integrated into a Niagara platform
• This facilitated control and monitoring of HVAC, mains failure and power consumption, generators, security interface, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and water metering
• SMS alerts generated for faults, which are provided to facility management
